I bought this as an easy and portable way to curl my hair and to cook spaghetti, when one rolls a wet spaghet into the cleaner, it begins to heat up and release sparks, and this heat leads to the spaghetti being cooked, and so I have used this on camping trips to cook myself some single spaghetti strands when I',m feeling peckish. I also use it to curl hair, but not my hair, just the hair of my daughters that I like less than other daughters.
